Amanda Salov is a contributor to Blue, the 3rd Issue of the Tatter Journal. Her work is inspired by colors of the environment. In these necklaces, she captures the tones of the earth through small, dynamic discs made of colored clay. These ceramic necklaces get better with age and time, as the clay absorbs skin oil and the discs polish one another. You can read more about Salov’s work in her article featured in Blue here.

Blue discs are strung onto a silver chain, 16 inches in length. Earth to Sea discs are strung onto a gold chain, 17.5 inches in length. Each disc is approximately a 1/2 inch in diameter.
