Selvedge Is A Horizon

THE TENDER HUMMING OF UNDERWATER
NOISE TRANSFIXES YOU TO STASIS, CARESSED BY THE BLUE NOISE OF WATER AND THE SOLACE OF CLOTH.
Woven through sky blue and cool indigo like the crest of a wave into the sea; this cloth is made like water. Every thread rippling through the over and under, securing its place, in order to create a whole. Droplets of weave pooling into pattern. Light gently embedded in the movement of the weave peaks and falls in a quiet dance across the cloth. The surface of this weave, with its luminosity and lightness, also holds depth and unseen shadows. Deep enough to hold you. Reminiscent of water’s embrace, it allows you to separate slowly from yourself. Held delicately in a soft blanket of hushed blues. Levitating between touch and cool air, it becomes effortless to be weightless. The tender humming of underwater noise transfixes you to stasis, caressed by the blue noise of water and the solace of cloth. Just as the shoreline, the cloth’s edge does not strictly contain but instead allows us to imagine what could expand on infinitely. As the sun swells in the evening and water appears to cascade over the horizon line, the possibility, also found in cloth, of forever can be fathomed.
